Special Events for the 2008 / 2009 season

1st May 2008 - membership year commences.

Sat 10th May 2008 , from 1pm - Joe Wilson Cold Ash Junior Open

With the benefit of a couple of very special trophies, this year we are planning a major junior tournament. Speak to Lisa or Becky if you are interested in taking part.

Sun 8th June 2008 , from 10am - Tony Etteridge Cup

This is our main adult tournament of the year. To enable some serious tennis, this will be held at Douai where we will have 6 courts available. Contact Pete for more information.

Sat 13th September 2008 - Family away day & Picnic

With 86 attending, last years event at Douai was a huge success. Expect lots of informal tennis, games, prizes, speed guns, ball machines and anything else we can think of to keep the whole family entertained.

Sat 15th November 2008 - our Mystery Social

Instead of our normal end of season Barn Dance this year we are planning something a bit different. Full details to follow nearer the date.

Tues 24th March 2009 , from 8pm - Annual General Meeting

In the Spotted Dog. Here we report on the club's financial status and any major developments over the last year. Some refreshments provided and all members welcome.

Sat 28th march 2009 , 7.30pm to late - End of season Social

An informal social to close off one season and kick start the next. Traditionally a Peking Thai Feast and Quiz at the Jade Cottage, Thatcham.
